Full Planetary Positions Table
✦ KEY ALERT: Ketu (South Node) is at 14° Leo, Purva Phalguni Pada 1. The Moon is at 17° Leo, Purva Phalguni Pada 2. They are ONLY 3 DEGREES APART. This is an extremely tight Ketu-Moon conjunction in Leo during the eclipse. This is what is causing the eclipse energetically.
The Aquarius Stellium — A Rare Cluster
Washington DC’s chart angle: the Rising Sign
Five chart factors in Aquarius face the Moon-Ketu conjunction in Leo. This is an incredible opposition: the individual and sovereign heartmind (Moon-Ketu in Leo) versus the collective techno-system (Sun-Mars-Mercury-Rahu in Aquarius). And Washington DC is the Lagna - the rising force - of this confrontation.
✦ Mundane Read: The Lagna (4° Aquarius, Dhanishtha) is the body of the nation or institution reading this chart. With the eclipse Moon-Ketu in the 7th house of open enemies, relationships, and (international) partners, and Rahu-Mars-Sun in the 1st house, this chart points to: self-assertion vs. the other; military action projected outward; and the shadow of pride activating confrontation.
KETU CONJUNCT MOON: THE DEEPEST LAYER
Why the Ketu-Moon Conjunction Changes Everything
This is not just ‘the Moon in Leo.’ The Moon is conjunct Ketu within 3 degrees in Purva Phalguni. This fuels the entire reading:
What Ketu Does to the Moon
• Ketu is the moksha-karaka: the planet of liberation, dissolution, past karma, and spiritual release.
• When Ketu is beside the Moon, the emotional mindbody (Moon) is pulled toward dissolution of attachment, past-life completion, and spiritual surrender.
• This placement shows individuals and collective moments marked by: deep intuition, psychic sensitivity, emotional detachment, spiritual crisis, and the dissolution of personal identity.
• In a mundane chart, Ketu on the Moon means: what the public feels (Moon) is colored by loss, completion, karmic reckoning, and a strange grief that cannot be easily named, but leading to surrender to what is.
Ketu in Leo: The Surrender of Sovereignty
Ketu in Leo is a charged placement. Leo demands recognition, pride, creative expression, sovereignty. Ketu dissolves all attachment to these things. The result?
• The surrender of ego-identity as a spiritual path
• The collapse of false kings; those who rule through pride rather than dharma
• A collective moment of releasing the performance of selfhood
• Hidden genius . Ketu in Leo can produce extraordinary creative gifts
✦ Ketu-Moon in Purva Phalguni: The hammock (Purva Phalguni’s symbol) + Ketu = the complete dissolution of rest, comfort and ego-pleasure. What you thought was your resting place is being pulled out from under you: not as punishment, but as liberation. The eclipse is the moment the hammock becomes a funeral pyre.
The Dasha Context: Venus MD / Mars AD
The active Vimsottari Dasha period at the eclipse moment is crucial for understanding the personal and collective timing:
Venus MD: 2019–2039 — The Long Arc
• Venus rules beauty, desire, relationships, creativity, luxury, diplomacy, and the arts, but also values, worth, and what we truly love.
• The 20-year Venus period (2019–2039) should be a global era of renegotiating values: What do we actually love? What is worth fighting for? What is beauty in a broken world?
• Venus also rules Taurus (accumulation, earth, stability) and Libra (balance, justice, partnership) the Venus period asks humanity to find its values amid technological and geopolitical upheaval.
• 2019 began with COVID precursors, cultural upheaval, rise of AI all Venus-period themes: the human question of what has genuine worth.
Mars AD: April 2025 – June 2026
• Mars sub-period within Venus major: desire meets action. Beauty meets war. Diplomacy meets aggression.
• Mars in this eclipse chart sits at 6° Aquarius in Dhanishtha, the nakshatra of drums, rhythm, abundance, and war. Mars here is disciplined but forceful.
• The Mars sub-period ends June 24, 2026, 4 months after this eclipse. We are at the peak intensity of the Mars window.
• Venus/Mars: this is classically the period of passionate confrontation, whether in love, in war, or in the collision of values.
✦ Dasha + Eclipse: The Moon is eclipsed in Venus’s nakshatra (Purva Phalguni), during Venus’s major period, during Mars’s sub-period. This is a triple-lock: dasha, sub-dasha, and eclipse nakshatra ruler all pointing to Venus-Mars themes. Love/Hate dramas and creative passion weaponized. Beauty meeting force. The roar of the lion in the hammock.
MUNDANE HOUSE ANALYSIS: WASHINGTON DC
Lagna: 4° Aquarius (Dhanishtha) The Body of the US
With Aquarius rising, this chart describes an entity defined by: technology, systems, collective networks, reform, revolution, and the tension between innovation and control. Aquarius as the Lagna of Washington DC on this eclipse night frames America (and by extension, the Western geopolitical order) as the primary actor.
• Dhanishtha Lagna: Dhanishtha = the nakshatra of drums, abundance, and Mars/Jupiter. It is associated with wealth, music, and war. Its deity is the Ashta Vasus (8 elemental gods of abundance).
1st House: Sun + Mars + Rahu + Mercury(R) in Aquarius
The 1st house (identity, body, assertion) is absolutely packed, four major factors in Aquarius:
• Sun (18° Aq): The national identity asserts itself. The light of the sovereign shines from the house of self, it roars leadership.
• Mars (6° Aq, Dhanishtha): Military action, aggression, and force in the 1st house… the body is at war or in assertion mode.
• Rahu (14° Aq): The shadow amplifier inflates adjacent themes- ambition, desire for dominance, obsession with identity and power. Rahu here creates a greedy, relentless assertiveness.
• Mercury Retrograde (26° Aq, Purva Bhadrapada): Communication reversed- classic signature of misinformation, mixed signals, intelligence failures, and negotiations going backward.
✦ 1st House Reading: An entity (nation, power) asserting itself with force (Mars), inflated by shadow desire(?) (Rahu), projecting its identity (Sun), while its communications and intelligence are reversed and confused (Mercury Rx). This is a portrait of aggressive action taken with less than perfect
information.
7th House: Moon + Ketu in Leo: The Other
The 7th house rules: open enemies, foreign partners, all kinds of relations, and ‘the other.’ The eclipse Moon and Ketu sit here.
• Moon (17° Leo, Purva Phalguni, Pada 2): The ‘other’, the adversary or partner, is emotionally volatile, creatively powerful, and roaring. A sovereign actor with pride and fire.
• Ketu (14° Leo, Purva Phalguni, Pada 1): The ‘other’ carries the energy of karmic completion, past-life intensity, and unpredictable dissolution. Ketu in the 7th is a classic indicator of a relationship or confrontation that has deep karmic roots, it does not behave rationally.
The eclipse, the shadow falling on the Moon, happened in the 7th house of this Washington DC chart. The light being blocked is the light of the adversary (7th house). An operation, a confrontation, an eclipse of the ‘other.’
✦ Geopolitical Mirror: 1st house: America/the West asserting with force and inflated ambition, with confused intelligence. 7th house: the adversary (in Leo, a sovereign, proud, lion-natured power) eclipsed. The blood moon is literally the eclipse of the adversary’s light from Washington’s perspective. ‘Operation Roaring Lion’ eclipses the Lion.
Other Key Houses
5th House: Jupiter (Retrograde) in Gemini, Punarvasu
• 5th house rules: creative intelligence, speculation, children, diplomacy and dharmic counsel.
• Jupiter retrograde in Gemini (Punarvasu) suggests: wisdom turned inward, expansive plans not yet ready to manifest, a return to earlier strategies. Punarvasu = ‘the return of the light’, there is a homecoming quality to this Jupiter.
• Jupiter as Atmakaraka (soul significator of the chart) retrograde in the 5th: the soul of the moment is turned inward, toward reexamination of creative and dharmic strategy.
2nd House: Venus in Pisces, Purva Bhadrapada
• 2nd house: money, speech, values, accumulated resources.
• Venus in Pisces is exalted, the strongest placement for Venus. In the 2nd house, it suggests that underlying values, resources, and what the entity truly loves are in a place of deep, exalted, even spiritual richness.
• Venus in Purva Bhadrapada: this is a dual-natured nakshatra of intense transformation, it can be the mystic or the mercenary. Exalted Venus here: genuine value being held in a place of intensity.
2nd House: Saturn in Pisces ,Uttara Bhadrapada
• Saturn co-occupies the 2nd house in Pisces, Uttara Bhadrapada.
• Uttara Bhadrapada is the nakshatra of deep waters, the cosmic serpent Ahir Budhnya, and profound karmic endurance (my own Lagna)
• Saturn here brings slow, heavy, karmic weight to financial and value systems. Resources are constrained, systems under structural pressure. But Saturn in Pisces also indicates: spiritual discipline applied to dissolving old structures
THE LION CONVERGENCE: FOUR EVENTS, ONE SYMBOL
The Fourfold Lion
On March 3, 2026, the lion archetype erupts simultaneously across four completely independent streams:
These four events: Hindu devotional, Buddhist ceremonial, astrological, and a modern geopolitical, arrive at the same symbol entirely independently. This is what Vedic cosmology means when it says ‘the sky speaks’: the archetypal field organizes events across all levels of reality simultaneously.
Narasimha and the Eclipse: The Threshold Mirror
The most stunning correspondence in this entire convergence is the reflection in the mirror between Narasimha’s story and the eclipse itself:
✦ The Deepest Teaching: Narasimha does not come when called strategically. He erupts when the heart is pure and the situation is impossible. The eclipse is not a problem to be solved, it is an eruption of the threshold. What cannot be killed by ordinary means must be met by something that exists in the inbetween.
COLLECTIVE ENERGETIC FORECAST
What Is Being Activated?
1. The Great Aquarius-Leo Reckoning
The nodal axis through Aquarius (Rahu) and Leo (Ketu) runs for approximately 18 months. This eclipse intensifies the central question of that entire period: What is the relationship between the individual free self (Leo) and the collective technological system (Aquarius)?
• Rahu in Aquarius craves: systems, networks, AI, collective solutions, mass movements, the algorithm
• Ketu in Leo releases: ego-performance, personal fame, pride-driven sovereignty, the need to be seen
• The eclipse amplifies: moments where the individual’s light (Moon in Leo) is swallowed by the collective shadow (Rahu in Aquarius)
• The collective question: Can you maintain your sovereign mindheart while being part of the network? Or does the network eat the lion?
2. The Aquarius Stellium: Systems Under Strain
With Sun, Mars, Rahu, and Mercury Rx all in Aquarius at the eclipse, the collective experience of systems, whether governmental, technological or informational, is under extreme pressure. Mercury retrograde in Aquarius means: communications and information systems are failing, reversing, or revealing hidden truths. This is not a good time for technological clarity.
3. Saturn and Venus in Pisces: The Spiritual Undertow
Both Saturn (Uttara Bhadrapada) and Venus (Purva Bhadrapada) are in Pisces in the 2nd house of this chart. The 2nd house rules accumulated resources and values. Both of these deep, transformative nakshatras in Pisces suggest that the real work of this period individually and collectively is happening beneath the surface: in the spiritual, the subconscious, and the karmic layer.
• Venus exalted in Pisces: genuine beauty, love, and value are available — but only through surrender, not grasping.
• Saturn in Pisces, Uttara Bhadrapada: the cosmic serpent of deep endurance is demanding that old financial and value structures dissolve slowly and completely.
4. Jupiter Retrograde in Gemini: Wisdom in Review
Jupiter (Punarvasu — the ‘return of the light’) retrograde in the 5th house suggests the collective wisdom and creative intelligence is in a phase of deep review. Old solutions are being reconsidered. Teachers are going inward. The expansion that seemed obvious needs to be questioned. Punarvasu literally means ‘the quiver of arrows returned’ — you cannot shoot until you have reviewed your aim.
5. The 12th House Theme
Looking at the third image - the 12th house description - this eclipse has profound 12th house resonance: loss, dissolution, moksha, hidden suffering, foreign residence, hospital confinement, secret enemies, karmic completion. The 12th house is the house of Ketu’s natural domain -and Ketu is directly conjunct the Moon.
Key 12th house themes activated by this eclipse:
• Losses and financial outflows — what has been spent that cannot be recovered
• Hidden enemies operating in secret — the unseen threats that cannot be named
• Spiritual awakening through detachment — the crisis that becomes liberation
• Past life karma exhaustion — the completion of something very old
• Moksha experiences — dissolution of ego identity as lived reality, not concept
• Subconscious transformation — what changes in the dream layer, not the waking
✦ 12th House Eclipse: This blood moon in Purva Phalguni, with Ketu (ruler of the 12th house) conjunct the Moon, activates the deepest 12th house themes in the collective: the dream layer is on fire. What is hidden is being burned.
PERSONAL GUIDANCE
How to Work With This Eclipse
Traditional Vedic guidance for eclipse periods:
• Eclipse window: Do not begin new ventures, sign contracts, or make major irreversible decisions during the eclipse itself.
• Mantras: Narasimha mantra: Om Namo Bhagavate Narasimhaya. Chandra mantra: Om Som Somaya Namah. Maha Mrityunjaya for protection.
• Purva Phalguni practice: Creative expression, music, or art as offering; not performance, but devotion through the Venus faculty.
• Holika Dahan: Write what you are releasing; ego structures, comfort zones, false securities… and offer them to fire (literal or symbolic).
• Ketu-Moon practice: Meditation on the dissolution of the watcher. Who is aware? What remains when the performance stops?
• Venus/Mars dasha: This is a period for honest reckoning with desire, not suppression, but: is this what I truly love, or only what I want to conquer?
Reflection Questions for the Eclipse
• Where in my life am I performing sovereignty rather than living it?
• What comfortable resting place (Purva Phalguni’s hammock) has become a place of avoidance?
• Where is my ‘Aquarius stellium’, the place where systems and collectives are swallowing my individual light?
• What does Narasimha need to tear open in me , the structure that looks invincible but is holding me in service to ego-pride?
• What past karma (Ketu) is completing itself in my relationships (7th house) right now?
• During this Venus/Mars period: what am I fighting for, and does it align with what I genuinely love?
CLOSING: THE ROAR AND THE SILENCE
The sky is not confused. It is precise. It is speaking the same word from every direction at once:
THE LION WHO SERVES THE PROGRAMMING WILL BE ECLIPSED.
THE LION WHO SERVES DHARMA CANNOT BE EXTINGUISHED.
King Hiranyakashipu was eclipsed. His pride, his certainty of invincibility, all eclipsed by the threshold being, the half-lion who came from the pillar of reality itself. Holika was eclipsed, her fireproof cloak was not enough when devotion sat in her arms. The operation named for the lion’s roar was supposed to have reached its conclusion by the blood moon. And they gathered in the field of dharma, during the Magha Puja, because when the dharma roars, the heart hears it without being told.
The Blood Moon in Leo is not a warning. It is a statement, but only the lion who has passed through the fire, who has dissolved the hammock, who has released the need to be recognized as the king will see it. That lion wears the crown of headless Ketu: the crown of liberation. Invisible, sovereign, free.
The roar that matters most is the one no one hears, because it comes from the within the self, not the stage.
Collective Activation Themes - The Players on the Stage
• Leo-Aquarius axis: Individual sovereignty vs. collective technological systems
• Rahu in Aquarius: Shadow hunger for systemic power, AI, mass control
• Ketu in Leo: Liberation from ego-performance, false pride dissolving
• Moon-Ketu: The collective emotional body pulled toward karmic completion
• Mercury Rx in Aquarius: Information systems failing, intelligence reversed
• Venus exalted + Saturn in Pisces: True value available only through surrender
• Jupiter Rx Punarvasu: Collective wisdom in deep review — arrows returned to quiver
• 12th house themes: Hidden enemies, secret karma, moksha, subconscious fire
